Adele House: Inside Her $58M Beverly Park Mansion & London Homes (2026)

Adele’s house story is unlike almost any other celebrity property portfolio. She did not buy one showpiece mansion and stop. She bought a whole street in Beverly Hills — three houses on the same road, one for herself, one across the street for her ex-husband so their son could walk between them, and one next door from her friend Nicole Richie. Then, in 2022, she bought Sylvester Stallone’s $58 million Beverly Park mansion and promptly tore it down to the studs, keeping only the swimming pool and the bronze Rocky statue by it. This is the full, verified story of the Adele house collection: the $58 million rebuild, the three-house Beverly Hills compound, her London townhouses, and the English homes she left behind.

Who Is Adele?

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on 5 May 1988 in Tottenham, North London, and was raised by her mother, Penny Adkins. She studied at the BRIT School and released her debut album, 19, in 2008, followed by 21 in 2011, 25 in 2015 and 30 in 2021. She has sold more than 120 million records worldwide and has won 16 Grammy Awards from 25 nominations, along with an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for “Skyfall”, the theme to the 2012 James Bond film of the same name.

Her son, Angelo, was born on 19 October 2012. She married charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki in 2018, and the couple divorced in 2021. She has been engaged to sports agent Rich Paul since August 2024, when she confirmed the engagement on stage. From November 2022 to November 2024 she performed Weekends with Adele, a 100-show residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, followed by ten concerts in Munich in August 2024. In July 2024 she announced an indefinite break from music, and she has remained largely out of the spotlight since the residency ended.

Where Does Adele Live Now?

Adele lives in Beverly Hills, California, with her son Angelo and her fiancé Rich Paul. Her main home is the Beverly Park mansion she bought from Sylvester Stallone in January 2022 — but it is still a building site. She has been rebuilding it from the ground up since she bought it, and reporting in early 2026 suggested it could still be three to five years from completion. While the work continues, her day-to-day base is the cluster of three houses she owns on one street in Beverly Hills’ Hidden Valley enclave, the first of which she bought in 2016. She also keeps property in London, including townhouses in Kensington, and has said she would like a UK base where she can spend around six months of the year — though she has also spoken about seasonal affective disorder making long stretches in Britain difficult, and she has lived in Los Angeles since 2016.

The Beverly Park Mansion: The $58M Rebuild

The centrepiece of Adele’s property story is the mansion in North Beverly Park, the gated enclave at the top of Beverly Hills. Sylvester Stallone built it in 1994 with architect Richard Landry on 3.5 acres, a Mediterranean-style estate of 18,587 square feet with eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, a cinema, an infinity pool, a spa, an art studio, a putting green and an eight-car garage. He listed it in January 2021 for $110 million, cut the price to $80 million, and sold it to Adele in January 2022 for $58 million.

The sale nearly fell apart over a single detail: the life-size bronze statue of Rocky Balboa standing by the infinity pool. Stallone wanted to take it with him. Adele made keeping it a condition of the purchase — reportedly telling him “no statue, no deal” — and the statue stayed.

What happened next surprised even seasoned Los Angeles property watchers. Rather than move into Stallone’s mansion, Adele gutted it. Photographs published in early 2026 showed the second floor completely removed and nearly every interior wall torn down, leaving the house barely recognisable. The only original features still standing are the swimming pool and the Rocky statue at one end of it — the pool water turned murky green from the construction around it. She is rebuilding the house in an ultra-modern style, with floor-to-ceiling windows, working with architect Sylvia Kuhle of Standard Architecture and celebrity construction firm Valle Reinis. The rebuild is expected to cost more than $50 million — roughly what she paid for the property itself — and includes a five-car garage and a “cool roof” to meet the requirements of the area’s very high fire hazard zone. The January 2025 fires in the Pacific Palisades, which destroyed thousands of homes, are also reported to have delayed the project by straining the supply of specialist labour. Adele has described the finished house as the family’s “forever home”, where she, Angelo and Rich Paul will live once it is done.

The Three Houses on One Street: Her Beverly Hills Compound

Before Beverly Park, Adele had already built herself a private compound in Beverly Hills’ Hidden Valley enclave, buying three houses on the same street over five years. Her first US home, bought in 2016 for $9.5 million, is a four-bedroom, six-bathroom house of about 6,600 square feet designed by Scott Mitchell, with a pool, a summerhouse and a jacuzzi. Fans got a look inside it in her Vogue “73 Questions” video in October 2021.

In 2019 she paid $10.65 million for a second house directly across the street — a larger property on more than 40,000 square feet of grounds, described as an “art collector’s paradise”. The house was for her ex-husband Simon Konecki, so that their son Angelo could move easily between his parents’ homes.

In May 2021 she bought a third house, next door to her own, from her friend Nicole Richie and Joel Madden for $10 million. Built in 1957 and later renovated and expanded, it has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and about 5,515 square feet on roughly half an acre, with a swimming pool and a basketball court. The three purchases together gave her a Beverly Hills portfolio worth more than $30 million before the Stallone house. The Richie house was listed for sale in 2023 at $12 million, and a 2026 report said it had been sold to her stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, for $7.5 million — a figure reported by a single outlet and not confirmed elsewhere.

London: The Kensington Townhouses

Adele has never given up her London base. In 2012 she bought two side-by-side mews houses in Kensington, West London — one for about £5.6 million ($6.4 million) and the one next door for about £5.4 million ($6.2 million) — with the intention of combining them into a single home. She also bought a flat nearby for her mother, Penny, for around £600,000.

Later reporting describes the Kensington property as a four-storey townhouse worth an estimated £11 million, on which she spent around £2 million on renovations, including permission to knock through into the neighbouring house and create one large home valued at more than £13 million. The master suite alone is said to take up the entire first floor, with a 1,000-square-foot bedroom, his-and-hers bathrooms and dressing rooms, and three more en suite bedrooms and a playroom on the top floor. Despite all of that, reports say she never officially moved in on a long-term basis, and it is not known whether the house is rented out or stands empty. In late 2024 there were reports that she and Rich Paul were looking for a new London home where they could spend around six months of the year.

The English Homes She Left Behind

Adele’s earlier English homes tell the story of her rise. In 2012, the year her son was born, she and Simon Konecki rented Lock House, a Grade II-listed ten-bedroom former convent in Partridge Green, West Sussex, set in 85 acres with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court and a helicopter hangar. She stayed only six months. On CBS’s 60 Minutes she showed the house to Anderson Cooper and said she found it “quite scary” — a remark the owner later said had blighted the property, which spent more than a decade on the market at around £6–7.25 million without finding a buyer, and is now the subject of planning permission to convert it into three dwellings.

Also in 2012, she bought an Art Deco house on Western Esplanade in Hove — Sussex’s “Millionaire’s Row” — for £2.5 million, and sold it in 2016. Around the same period she and Konecki bought Ridge Hill Manor, an eight-bedroom Tudor manor near East Grinstead in West Sussex, reported to have cost around $5.3 million; it was later listed for £4 million and sold in 2020 for a reported £3 million.

What the Adele House Story Shows

Adele buys houses the way she makes records: slowly, privately, and on her own terms. Three houses on one street so her son can walk between his parents. A London townhouse bought twice over and knocked through, then barely lived in. And a $58 million mansion bought from a Hollywood icon and then demolished down to the pool and the statue — because the house she wants does not exist yet, so she is building it. It is the most expensive renovation in her portfolio and the longest: bought in 2022, still a building site in 2026, and possibly not finished for years. When it is, it will be the first home she has ever built for herself from scratch.

FAQs

Where does Adele live now?

Adele lives in Beverly Hills, California, with her son Angelo and her fiancé Rich Paul. Her main home is the Beverly Park mansion she bought from Sylvester Stallone in January 2022 for $58 million, which she is rebuilding from the ground up. While the work continues, she lives in the cluster of three houses she owns on one street in Beverly Hills’ Hidden Valley enclave.

How much did Adele pay for Sylvester Stallone’s house?

She paid $58 million in January 2022. Stallone had listed the 3.5-acre Beverly Park estate for $110 million in January 2021 and cut the price to $80 million before selling. The eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion measures 18,587 square feet.

Did Adele keep the Rocky statue?

Yes. The life-size bronze statue of Rocky Balboa by the infinity pool was a condition of the sale — Adele reportedly told Stallone “no statue, no deal”. It is the only piece of Stallone’s house still standing, along with the swimming pool, after her gut renovation.

How many houses does Adele own in Beverly Hills?

Four: the Beverly Park mansion and three houses on one street in the Hidden Valley enclave — bought in 2016 for $9.5 million, in 2019 for $10.65 million (across the street, for her ex-husband), and in May 2021 for $10 million from Nicole Richie (next door).
