Hulk Hogan House: Inside His Final Clearwater Beach Home, Now Under Contract at $6.9 Million

For the last 13 years of his life, the most famous address in Hulk Hogan’s world was not a wrestling arena. It was a white, Mediterranean-style mansion standing directly on the sand at Clearwater Beach, Florida — the home where the man born Terry Gene Bollea spent his final years, and where, on the morning of 24 July 2025, paramedics were called before he was pronounced dead at Morton Plant Hospital, aged 71.

Six months after his death, the estate put the house on the market at just under $11 million. The price has been cut four times since — and the mansion is now under contract at $6.9 million. This is the verified story of the Hulk Hogan house: what he paid, what is inside, and the far bigger Belleair mansion that came before it.

The Clearwater Beach House

Hogan bought the house at 1040 Eldorado Avenue in April 2012 for $3.33 million, according to property records, moving in just as he sold the enormous Belleair estate a few miles inland (more on that below). Built in 2009, the Clearwater Beach home is a three-storey, Italian-inspired residence of roughly 5,400 square feet on a 0.14-acre parcel with unobstructed views over the Gulf of Mexico.

From the brick-paved circular driveway, a dual staircase climbs to an arched entrance framed by stone columns. Inside, listing details describe teak, marble and natural stone floors, a gas fireplace, a spiral staircase with a hanging chandelier, and a designer kitchen with solid wood cabinets and stone countertops. An elevator serves all three levels. The primary suite alone runs to about 1,000 square feet, with a Gulf-front terrace, morning bar, spa-style bathroom, sitting area and custom walk-in closet. Across the house there are five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in total.

Outside, a covered entertainment area opens to a heated pool and spa overlooking the water, and the sand of Clearwater Beach is quite literally the back garden — the property has direct beach access.

The Cottage Next Door

In 2016 Hogan expanded his footprint on Eldorado Avenue, buying the neighbouring property for $1.6 million, including a guest cottage. Notably, the cottage is not part of the current sale — the land it sits on is being given its own tax ID and kept separate, according to the listing details.

His Final Years at the House

Clearwater was home turf for Hogan, who grew up in nearby Tampa and remained a fixture around the beach community. He married Sky Daily in Florida in 2023, and the couple were baptised together later that year at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo. Behind the scenes he was dealing with serious health problems and a long history of back and neck surgeries.

On 24 July 2025, emergency crews were called to 1040 Eldorado Avenue. Hogan had gone into cardiac arrest at home; he was taken to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, where he was pronounced dead at 71. Records later gave the cause as an acute myocardial infarction — a heart attack — and noted a history of atrial fibrillation and leukaemia.

On the Market: From $10.99 Million to $6.9 Million

The estate, managed by Hogan’s son Nick, listed the house on 30 January 2026 at $10.989 million with Martha Thorn of the Thorn Collection at Coldwell Banker Realty. Buyers did not bite at that level. The asking price fell to $8,999,999 on 28 April, to $7.9 million on 12 June, and by another $1 million on 3 September, reaching $6.9 million — a total reduction of about $4.09 million, or 37 per cent. At that figure the mansion went under contract. Even so, the sale price will be roughly double the $3.33 million Hogan paid in 2012. Public records cited in coverage put the home’s 2025 property taxes alone at about $81,816.

Before Clearwater: The Belleair Mansion

Long before Eldorado Avenue, Hogan’s Florida base was a sprawling mansion in Belleair, the house made famous by the reality show Hogan Knows Best (2005–2007). The Belleair estate was far larger than the Clearwater Beach house, with its own pool complex overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. At the height of the market Hogan had it listed at $25 million; after his divorce from Linda Hogan it eventually sold in April 2012 for about $6.2 million — the same month he bought the Clearwater Beach house for $3.33 million, in what was in effect a glamorous downsize to the beach.

A Note on Accuracy

Earlier versions of this article gave the wrong purchase year for the Clearwater Beach house (2014 instead of 2012) and, like the old version, treated the “$11.5 million” figure as the home’s value. In fact $10.989 million was only the January 2026 asking price; the market has since spoken, and the house is under contract after reductions to $6.9 million. Claims in the old version about Hogan’s car collection and a Miami Beach home could not be verified against reliable sources and have been removed.
